COE Faculty Awards
Nominations should be submitted to Gabrielle Mason in the College of Education Office of the Associate Dean for Research & External Affairs, G-10 Aderhold Hall. Ms. Mason can be reached by phone at 706-542-4558 or via email gmason@uga.edu. Please include 11 copies of the nomination packet.
Nominations are due January 17 each year. Should this date fall on a weekend or holiday, nominations are due the next working day.
*Cash awards are subject to tax.

| Carl Glickman Faculty Fellow Award | Current COE faculty at the associate level, including academic and service professionals | Plaque, a one-time $1,000 cash award, and a $2,000 grant for professional development |
| Schneider Mentoring Award | Schools and community-based professionals and non-tenure career track faculty (e.g., supervising teachers and academic professionals) engaged in mentoring of graduate or undergraduate students in the College. Past awardees and tenure-track faculty are not eligible. | Plaque and $2,000 allowance for professional travel or development |
| Ira E. Aaron Award for Teaching Excellence and Collegiality | Full-time associate and full professors | Plaque and a $5,000 instructional grant |
| Yeany Research Award | Full-time, tenure-track faculty | Plaque, a one-time $1,000 cash award, and a $2,000 grant for professional development |
| COE Aderhold Distinguished Professor Award | Professors with at least five years on the UGA COE faculty | Plaque and $4,000 to be received as discretionary funds for one year, a one-time cash award, or a combination of the two. |
| Faculty Senate D. Keith Osborn Award for Teaching Excellence | Full-time assistant and associate professors | Plaque and a $2,000 instructional grant |
| Full-time, tenured and tenure track faculty |
Recognition at UGA Honors Day and a certificate from the COE |

| Faculty Diversity Award | Full-time tenured, tenure-track, or career-track faculty; no faculty member serving on the COE Faculty Awards Committee is eligible for nomination during his or her term of service on this committee. | Plaque and a $1,000 cash award |
