Registering a Student Organization

A registration application form should be submitted by the student organization each semester (September and January 1) detailing information about the organization: membership, officers, advisors, etc.
Forms for application are available in the Student Activities Office in the Tate Student Center or online at

Receiving Financial Assistance for Your Organization

Organizations wishing to receive financial assistance from the Office of Student Activities must file a Fee Allocation Request with the Student Services Office in Room 122 of Aderhold Hall by the 2nd Monday in September.
The application for funding must be filed after the organization is registered with Student Activities and a copy of the registration attached to the funding request.
These requests are reviewed and allocations are made by a committee comprised of representatives from various student organizations.

The Student Services Center works with College of Education organizations that belong to the following student activities category:

Academic/Interest and Professional: An organization whose state objective is to provide an opportunity for individuals to discuss and share information related to a specific academic discipline, topic, or interest. Membership may be composed of mainly a specific academic major.
