Student Organizations
Registering a Student Organization
- A registration application form should be submitted by the student organization each semester (September and January 1) detailing information about the organization: membership, officers, advisors, etc.
- Forms for application are available in the Student Activities Office in the Tate Student Center or online at
www.uga.edu/stuact/programs/studentOrg/stuorgreg/mysitenew/studentorgregistrationnew2/index.htm
Receiving Financial Assistance for Your Organization
- Organizations wishing to receive financial assistance from the Office of Student Activities must file a Fee Allocation Request with the Student Services Office in Room 122 of Aderhold Hall by the 2nd Monday in September.
- The application for funding must be filed after the organization is registered with Student Activities and a copy of the registration attached to the funding request.
- These requests are reviewed and allocations are made by a committee comprised of representatives from various student organizations.

The Student Services Center works with College of Education organizations that belong to the following student activities category:
Academic/Interest and Professional: An organization whose state objective is to provide an opportunity for individuals to discuss and share information related to a specific academic discipline, topic, or interest. Membership may be composed of mainly a specific academic major.
